These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Global Jobs Connect™. By accessing or using the platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by them.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing, registering for, or using Global Jobs Connect™ (the “Service”), you ("User", "Employer", or "Candidate") agree to these Terms and Conditions, including any updates that we may publish from time to time. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Eligibility
The Service is available to individuals and entities capable of forming legally binding contracts. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old (or of legal age in your jurisdiction) and have authority to agree to these terms.
3. Services
Global Jobs Connect™ provides:
- Job posting and advertising tools for employers.
- Candidate discovery, search, and matching features.
- Account management interfaces for applicants and recruiters.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time, with or without notice.
4. Account Registration & Security
Users must provide accurate and complete information when creating accounts. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
5. User Obligations
All users agree not to:
- Post fraudulent, misleading, or discriminatory content.
- Impersonate others or misuse another’s account.
- Harvest or scrape data from the platform in violation of our policies.
- Use the Service for any unlawful or harmful purpose.
6. Employer Responsibilities
Employers agree to:
- Provide truthful job descriptions and terms of employment.
- Respect candidate privacy and comply with applicable hiring laws.
- Not charge applicants for job applications unless clearly disclosed and lawful.
7. Candidate Responsibilities
Candidates agree to:
- Provide accurate qualifications and work history.
- Not misrepresent identity or credentials.
- Respect employer communication and follow application instructions.
8. Payments & Fees
Certain features (e.g., premium job postings, highlighted listings, or advanced candidate tools) may require payment. Fees are outlined at point of purchase and are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing with notice.
9. Intellectual Property & Content
All content, trademarks, logos, and software on the platform are owned or licensed by Global Jobs Connect™ or E-Media Group™. You may not reproduce or distribute proprietary content without permission. Users retain ownership of their user-generated content but grant us a license to display and use it to operate the Service.
10. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and share personal information. By using the Service, you consent to that data handling. (Link to Privacy Policy.)
11. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee job placement, candidate quality, or continuous availability. Users are responsible for their interactions and decisions.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Global Jobs Connect™, E-Media Group™, and their affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our aggregate liability will not exceed the amount you have paid in the prior 12 months, or one hundred dollars (USD), whichever is less.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Global Jobs Connect™, E-Media Group™, and their respective officers, directors, and employees from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising out of your misuse of the Service or violation of these Terms.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. When changes are material, we will provide notice via the platform or email. Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
15. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for users who violate these Terms, with or without notice. You may also close your account through your settings. Certain provisions survive termination, including ownership, limitation of liability, and indemnity clauses.
16. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which E-Media Group™ is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes will be resolved through arbitration or in courts as specified in our detailed dispute policy.
17. Miscellaneous
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder will continue in effect. Our failure to act on a breach does not waive our rights. You may not assign your rights without our consent.
